For the posters who can't figure out whats going on here, dude had an anxiety attack.
I think most people have had one or two, but if you a G? You tough that shyt out
You don't even know what it was you battled thru
Then you make fun of the next man if you ever see someone struggle with anything similar

He's a director. Not a screenwriter, not an actor. Most people like 95% can't go on stage and talk without prep of some kind. He doesn't get paid to talk but paid to show. Now if this was a directors workshop and he did this it'd be like :mindblown: what the fukk? A lot of directors don't even like to do scripted interviews where they pick and choose the questions.

This would be like you working the register at McDonald's and in one day they fly you to an international conference to speak on behalf of McDonald's in front of the ceo's and 1000s of employees

:what:

Terrible analogy. That would have been the highlight of that McDonald's employees professional life. He would have spent a ton of time preparing for that presentation.

That was just another speaking engagement for Bay. Dude looked like he just showed up ready to collect his check and had not previously put any real thought into how Samsung's curved screen would enhance the viewing experience of his movies. That teleprompter broke, and he knew he had no thoughts on the subject so he panicked.

Yea that's why I can't laugh at ol boy. I am pretty good at public speaking, but a lot of people aren't built for it. Shoot, I remember my best friends wedding I had to give the best mans speech and the whole ceremony/reception I started getting nervous. Mind you, these are people I know as well as stranger, but my stomach started doing flips and turns and I was skressed out :why::why: When I got up there, I stumbled, but played it off and went on a tear.

Imagine a room of 2000 people :lupe::whew:

As a Director, I Make DREAMS COME TO LIFE! :smugbiden: :win:

*teleprompter smokes and fizzles*
:leostare:

:merchant:

Exactly!

nikkas acting like he got shook once he walked out there and saw 4000 eyes on him. He walked out there swagged out.... swagger went from a hundred thousand trillion to zero fast as the speed of light. That ain't stage fright!

Coulda been a panic attack, but that attack was brought on by that teleprompter fukking up, not a sudden realization that he has a fear of speaking publicly.

Dipped out like he saw Tyrese in the crowd

I probably would have been a bit scared too but, I'm sure I could have winged it. This is something you love to do and have been doing for decades. You can't talk about that for two minutes :cacbaby:

You could put me and 85% of this thread on that stage right now and we would do a better job than that. Thats a man whose never had to go on a job interview..
