Black Superman 1
Sunshine Superman is one of many forgotten heroes erased by the Crisis of Infinite Earths, and he and the rest of his teammates were erased from the continuity, until the Psycho-Pirate began reviving many heroes and villains destroyed during the Crisis.
During the second Crisis, Sunshine Superman was one of many alternate Supermen that had been recreated by Alexander Luthor Jr.. A newer version had been established as living in one of the new, 52 Earths created after the Second Crisis. He was a member of the Supermen of the Multiverse during the Final Crisis.
His name is a reference to the song "Sunshine Superman" by 60 Birtish pop star Donovan.
Black Superman 2
Kalel, also known as Clark Kent, from Earth-D is the leader of the Justice Alliance of America on an Earth that features more multi-cultural heroes than on the regular Justice League's Earth. Kalel and his wife Kara (Earth-D's Supergirl) left Krypton as adults. Both of them were killed during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Black Superman 3
Calvin Ellis, Kryptonian name Kal-El, also known as Superman, is a Kryptonian president of the United States, on a different Earth in the Multiverse. Born to Jor-El and Lara in the science capital on Vathlo Island on Krypton, baby Kal-El was sent to Earth to escape Krypton's destruction. He was found and raised by a human couple. He became Superman in addition to being the president.
He operates from the White House, where Brainiac serves as his personal computer and even covers for him while he does his duties as Superman.
Black Superman 4
Kryptonian son of Dru-Zod of Earth 2, hidden by Terry Sloan in a cell beneath Arkham. Secluded for most of his life and developed a gentle pacifistic nature. Val became the lover of Power Girl and joined the Justice Society.
