The actual relevancy is that WB’s not clear on what to do with Superman. The last time Abrams name was next to Superman was another almost reinvention of the character.


Batfleck wasn’t so hot too but that hasn’t sent them to reinventing the character. They are apparently Long Halloweening it.


So why can’t the WB just AllStar it. Or ForallSeasons it?

Id like to see a normal Superman. Then again, since Lucasfilm cant do a normal star wars film, why should i expect DC to do a normal Superman film.

I'm not concerned. Last time they dropped a Superman movie.... Man of Steel... it was a classic. Sure, the people who wanted the Donner era Superman were not happy but it was time to move on from that..

Reeves has a vision and WB likes the vision so they rolling with it. If JJ has a vision then we'll see.. JJ is already working closely with Warner Bros. on content for HBO Max so he's not far away.
