This is interesting. I hear a lot of folks talk about "ass kissing" when it comes to non Black and White people in this country. But what exactly is "ass kissing" behavior?
As a Mexican, I will say there are some older mexican people have a very "stick to your own kind" mentality. Don't get to buddy buddy with White, Black, or Asian. Daughters are expected to only date Mexican dudes. Sons on the other hand can hook up with whoever they want, but they eventually should end up with a Mexican girl. Some don't even want to associate with other latinos. The only time I've seen "ass kissing" was employees being nice to the white boss in the workplace. But you see employees of all races kissing the employers butt.
I've noticed a lot of Black folks on here think that if a Mexican is anti-black, it's because he's trying to earn brownie points with Whites. But most of the time, If a Mexican is anti-black, he's also anti everyone who's not Mexican.
Most Mexican people, as well as most immigrants from around the world, just want to work, be left alone, and keep a low profile. Especially if they are illegal. Don't bring attention to yourself, or you might be deported.
People on this site like to generalize whole Races on individual events. Like that Mexican restaurant owners who had "white appreciation " day, and all I saw were "Mexic00ns" this and "Ass Kissers" that. But those fools do not represent me. Just like that Black woman who was defending the confederate flag a week ago. I know damn well she does not represent Black peoples opinion.
First time I've ever posted in the Root, and I don't want to make a habit of it. Back to the Coliseum and JBO I go.
