I used to troll my homeboy back when I was 10 that mewtwo was strong enough to beat frieza in dbz knowing damn well he couldnt

@Kitsune @Willstyles and everyone else. Pokemon has got to have the most embarrassingly, pathetic FILLER to plot line ratios in anime history. It looks like childs play compared to Detective Conan, One Peice, Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, DBZ,etc....
The shyt has just become so sad now it isn't even funny anymore. This creator Satoshi has got to be the biggest embarrassment in the pool of the other legendary anime creators(Toriyama,Gosho,etc). It seems that he is basically the Seth McFarland of Japanese animation.
How is it that:
1. Unlike other anime series, there has been little to no interaction at all between Ash and Misty and having that as a plot line and not a minor thing that came up every 100 episodes about their relationship...
2. Giving "Primeape" to another person to be "trained" and to be never returned has got to be up there in one of the idiotic mistakes in history. Its not as bad as the Pigeot thing(which is still bad) because at least you can always find a strong bird.
3. He pretty much REGRESSED after he got his ass lucky by beating Gary in Johto when he was closed to getting murked.......
4. Token noob........rarely rotating his Pokemon from the previous reagion and leaving them to rot.
There is so much more to be said but I will just stop because its frustrating thinking about this pathetic display by Satoshi Tajiri

fukk ya they could of easily had dude get older or some kind of timeskip been a pokemon master and then use a new character repeat cycle but with diff battles and strageties too
ash has way too many powerful pokemon to be taking so many L'S let alone lose to newbie trainers
they could easily make it a more mature show if they wanted too on top of that most of the us people who watch anime watch the shyt online cuz on tv they destroy it too hell

even as someone who does not bother watching it anymore I know they still keep up with this same shyt....
That is why it kills me seeing those interviews from the past where coworkers talk about how hardworking that creator "Satoshi" is....
Dude pretty much became the Jay-Z of his craft......an undeniable legend......but someone who starts getting real obsessed with the $ aspect WITHOUT actually working hard on the craft.....
We all talk about reminiscing about the past seasons and I had a thread the other day talking about the great soundtrack songs.........
But look back on those old episodes and the show as a whole.......
Its absolutely pathetic......im not just talking about the animation and color scheme or anything......just watch how pathetic it is.
Its funny because you see shows with old episodes like these from the late 90s and it makes Pokemon look liike a Dr Seuss book.

This is the same show that had Ash beat a Regice with his Pikachu and that same Pikachu lost to scrub pokemon.
Just shameful how Satoshi turned this show into ONLY a marketing sceme. Noticed I said "only" because show s like DBZ were still able to be marketed well across countries without having the need to make a joke out of their plot.
That doesn't mean you have to create a perfect show.......None are.
But at least show some strong effort.
