The 04 pistons held squads to 84 ppg and 41% fg ,30% 3's

The 96 bulls held squads to 93 ppg and 45% fg 35% 3's

The 08 Celtics held squads to 91 ppg 42 fg% 31% 3's

Not that I'm saying you're wrong but these particular statistics don't tell the whole story perse. If the Bulls scored more in their games as well then you need to take in account that when you're leading in a game by, say, 20 points you will need to focus less on defense and you'll probably try stunting on the other team more. When the games are closer you will focus on defense as much as you can and thus probably keep the other team to a lower score.
What you need in addition to these statistics to prove your point is a whole extra set of data that compares the score lines of all the games, especially the ones where the Bulls won by a big margin and check how many of those games the other team scored more than 93 points.
