The 96 bulls held squads to 93 ppg and 45% fg 35% 3's

Do you know what well balanced means? In this instance it means a balance of pros and cons, good and bad, strengths and weaknesses. Those "stiffs" did their jobs well. If a team with Rodman, Jordan, Pippen and Harper isn't great defensively, then you don't know wtf you're talking about, as usual.

I doubt the numbers will back it up but just from watching the games I always felt that the 92 and 93 Bulls were both better defensively than the 96 team was. People just think the 96 team was better because of their record.

Agreed BUT I didn't say the 96 Bulls were the best, I said that they were great. No matter how better those teams may have been, it doesn't negate the fact that the 96 Bulls weren't great defensively, which was one of my points.
