Here's the thing though, nobody was going to pay him. Raiders wanted Jimmy because of McDaniels; Jets wanted Carr, while the other teams either have qbs or were trying to develop them. The only team that might have signed him was Tampa, and Baker>>>Daniel everyday.

The current state of the Giants is that they're a bad team that overachieved last year off the strength of their QB not being nearly as bad as prior years. However, the Giants organization can't go into an offseason fresh off a playoff win and effectively dump all the decent players again.
