Meth or Dirty have the best single from the solo run.

Brooklyn Zoo is an amazing record. I'll chalk that up to Rza just being King Midas during that stretch where he was able to pull styles together with drums and samples flawlessly.

And as far as single, what they are meant for and do, Method Man obviously has them beat. He has a grammy.

'Bring The Pain' was crazy... matter fact, it took me a couple listens to REALLY, REALLY understand how dope that shyt was. I just knew we were in for a classic album. Didn't quite turn out to be the end-all be-all like I thought, but Tical was worth the hype.

The 'All I Need' remixes is obviously up there, cash move or not tho'. And a pretty smart move to push Meth's sales after 'Release Yo Delf' (surprisingly) flopped.

'Ice Cream' was :gladbron: A standout on the album from day one, hit the radio and had all the chicks goin' crazy, and then the video came out :obama: Everything about that shyt was dead on-point. Wild to think they weren't even that crazy about makin' that song until RZA pitched the idea for how it'd work...

'Shimmy Shimmy Ya' was cool... I always preferred 'Brooklyn Zoo' more, but I see Mel's point about how it worked better as a single. Lil' kids were singin' that shyt and everything

Always felt 'Daytona 500' shoulda blown up bigger than it did. That fukkin' video probably did it no justice tho'. :beli: They coulda at least superimposed them nikkas into the vid so it wouldn't just be a damn episode of 'Speed Racer' set to music.

them all i need remixes man....i remember getting tical and being pissed at the OG version of all i need...that beat was so basic and generic and raw....i wasn't feeling it...the puffy version gave it gloss.....it was a lot better..but that rza razor sharp mix had my 12-13 year old self doing mean headnods off it...horns were hittin :obama:

aha. I laughed at the beginning of the vid when Rae starts spittin peace to cats who rock mac knowledge knowledges, n speed racer starts rappin along.

really tho...Shimmy Shimmy Ya was a genius single and the video just made it better. Thats still Hype Williams crowning achievement in my book....fukk all that big budget nonsense he did years later.

Ice Cream was crazy.

Out of those options I'm gonna go with Bring the Pain.

i'm speaking to those Wu singles that had them the absolute hottest, most refreshing new act in hip hop since the class of '88. Bring The Pain is the epitome of a perfect lead single to set up a superstar. It's better than Snoop's 'What's My Name'...

50 came the closest with In Da Club but Meth means more.

Tical being a "let down' is in light of impossible odds set by that single and the groundswell.....plus def jam rushing it, the flood etc.

but listen to Tical today and tell me every song isn't committed to memory and still banging. the album is a theme or skit riddled presentation away from being a grand slam.

you get the Gravediggaz/Rzarector/Cralton Fisk , 100,000,000 members all with skills vibe beautifully.

Deck kills Sandman. C. Fisk has one of the illest verses ever from an mc that ended up in jail instead of the source, what the blood clot is a perfect method man song....even 'stimulation' bangs with early 90's vintage back for the first time flavor....like Dirty reciting Genius verses from his first album.

i also now like Tical more than Dare Iz a Darkside. It's half short and twice strong.

Red's shyt is more bugged and tied to druggy shyt. Tical is pure venom and more sinister.
