it's too many of them that's powered to be above A listers,

but then they'll use them for the same type of story over and over, if at all.

Like, how many times they're gonna remind us that Captain Atom can beat Superman, only to have his suit ruptured and he winds up in another universe?

Or how many times they'll let Martian Manhunter get beat up just so you know the villain is POWERFUL?

Look at Plastic Man.

Hell, the DCU should be more scared shytless of Despero than of Darkseid.

Or like The Time Trapper.

I could go on and on and on

Yup, and it is the same on the other side. I know Marvel loves to use the "he's just a simple minded goon" excuse but The Absorbing Man is treated as a jobber when he should be one of the most powerful dudes in the universe. And when a guy is legitimately world breaking (Sentry, Molecule Man) they go with "but-but-but he's mentally unstable".

And? His powers are the same. People were saying for someone so powerful why isn't he used more. Well its because he's not as powerful as you think.

the powers are the same, but they are wildly inconsistent. that became fact when alfred was able to take something to put him on supermans level. and its not the last time weve seen deathstroke somehow punch outside his weight class. they had him somehow be able to take a flash in identity cris

there at least consistent about that. from phoenix to mad jim, when characters get crazy ass powers that they werent born with, they get crazy as well. the only exception i can think of is franklin richards, and even then his powers manifested before puberty

He is not popular. Deathstrole got a win because he is more popular then metamorpho. Before he got popular deathstrole was getting his as kicked by the teen titans.

Well Deathstroke is a smart assassin that knew metamorpho's weakness and exploited it. I wouldn't say it was based on popularity.

His powers were the same though. It was metamorpho who underestimated deathstroke and he caught him off guard.

Injustice actually has a pretty good representation of DC heros and villians and doesn't stray too far off of their main story counter parts.

The pill Alfred took was a main plot point to the whole injustice story. Plus that pill isn't too far fetched and could easily exist in the current rebirth universe.

Deathstroke is an enhanced human. Him punching outside weightclass or surviving a mortal wound is one of his talents.

having the same powers doesnt mean you have knowledge of the skillset. metamorpho was fighting world destroyers on earth prime. theres really nothing in slades arsenal that should be able to fukk with him unless hes not as proficient as the original

Yes it is. He beat the justice league one time when there side kicks were kicking his ads. It is based in popularity. Same reason deadpool is huge now and why superman can beat captain marvel.

Read the comic. Metamorpho was caught off guard while still in his organic form. That's how slade killed him.

So by your logic powers don't matter its all about popularity. Which really means how the writers want to portray the characters.

Read the comic and you'll see slade didn't beat him in some overpowered way. Metamorpho let his guard down and slade took advantage.
