S/o to anti dei both sides bruddas cosigning all this
I believe that's the case in tech, but this anti dei movement hasn't stopped with just tech. It's now effecting industries that it was beneficial with. Black folks being off code, cosigning the attack of other black folks being in charge of diversity initiatives is why we're in the situation we're in. A complete capitulation of the far rights framing was cosigned by our very own. Every black is now considered a dei and lazy with undeserved careers.Bruh the DEI shyt is bullshyt at tech companies anyway. It's just an excuse to force companies to interview people they have no intentions of hiring. And now companies create fake jobs just to waste people of color's time doing interviews and assessments for a position that doesn't exist so their interview stats look "diverse."
Maybe DEI is different in different industries but I don't see it helping at least black folks in the world of tech especially at mid and small companies.
How many of these anti DEI black folks are from backgrounds where they regularly see black folks making the least amount of progress yet somehow taking a strong majority of the social heat for the program (like tech for instance)?I believe that's the case in tech, but this anti dei movement hasn't stopped with just tech. It's now effecting industries that it was beneficial with. Black folks being off code, cosigning the attack of other black folks being in charge of diversity initiatives is why we're in the situation we're in. A complete capitulation of the far rights framing was cosigned by our very own. Every non black is now considered a dei and lazy with undeserved careers.
