At least it is not called the Chickfila Stadium or some shyt.

I still can't get over the fact that Smoothie King has naming rights over a Stadium. :snoop:

Dont worry give it time. These stadiums change names like folks change underwear.

The team owners are happy to sell the name of the stadium to the highest bidder.

ATL
Dome was built in 92...although it isn't very old, it's outdated. The Falcons wanted $300 million from the city to renovate it, but really they wanted another stadium because without a new stadium it was doubtful the city would ever get another Super Bowl or host a myriad of other events (College Football Playoff, Final Fours) etc @The ADD

So yes the overarching theme is money, but the last time I was in the Dome with @Motife43 in August that shyt feels dead. Just not a great place to watch a game especially when you compare it to other newer stadiums in the league

It was a preseason game, so I couldn't judge it off that. But other events, Celebration Bowl, Peach Bowl, regular season games it's live. Despite all that, I'm looking forward to the new stadium.

This is @The ADD's territory to give his opinion

I was in Atlanta last week so I checked out the Falcons-Packers game. I was baffled by the number of Packers fans (probably around 35-40%). It was the first sporting event I've attended where people were selling opposing team gear on the street :mjlol:.

NOLA
:umad:

:ehh: Copelands super dome actually don't sound bad.
shyt sound wack.

Look let's keep it a hunnid. We all know what city reigns supreme in hosting major events. The superdome could change its name 20 times and it would still be New Orleans.
