Dome was built in 92...although it isn't very old, it's outdated. The Falcons wanted $300 million from the city to renovate it, but really they wanted another stadium because without a new stadium it was doubtful the city would ever get another Super Bowl or host a myriad of other events (College Football Playoff, Final Fours) etc @The ADD
So yes the overarching theme is money, but the last time I was in the Dome with @Motife43 in August that shyt feels dead. Just not a great place to watch a game especially when you compare it to other newer stadiums in the league

The last time I had been to Atlanta they were putting the finishing touches on the Georgia Dome.

They even announced a new height requirement of 4 feet for all non minors who want to attend games, you ain't gotta hide in shame no more @portcityplaya

Ain't that the truth. Last time I was there I could have sworn I saw people taking naps. It was a falcons game tho and atl fans in general suck but it was still dead. Until the Saints stopped Michael Turner on 4th and 1 and the place was the loudest it had been all day
Yup I work at the old headquarters here in north Jersey and its depressing seeing them move each building down there little by little. The moving process should be done by summer 2018, im trying to relocate with them
