Like I said in my first post, I'm a responsible adult male who takes care of his lady, but I for one won't be walked on. She has to contribute to my happiness as well, I won't be the only one spending money. Will she spend less? Probably, but it's a two way street. AND I'm saving money for her ring as well.
I have a father who tsught me not to accept handouts from a woman and to ALWAYS have mine. But I will say, I don't mind being spoiled from time to time but I don't depend on it.
