Brotha I am so glad that you posted this. Anyone who has followed her knows her whole act is the I am the big, loud mouth, unattractive sista. This act has laced her pockets nicely over the years.
I look it as the old unsung on tvone of the fat boys and how they knew being fat was what made them famous and got them paid. So even when they wanted to lose weight they knew professionally it would be the death of their careers. So they stayed fat in order to stay getting paid. You see this with comedians whose whole comedy is built around being fat as well.
Also we all have seen women who are considered less attractive than leslie that have had countless husbands and boyfriends.
Another thing the article reads as the typical mainstream woah is me bull shyt. You see this shyt in sports where they love black athletes to tell heart pulling stories of how they beat the odds growing up poor or without a father even if they didn't grow up poor and without a father.

With that said, her prospects are fukked up because of how she plays into stereotypes that are amplified by her physical stature. There are plenty of people out here dating whose physical attributes (facial or otherwise) are not their strong suit.
Barring armchair psychology, her openness is cool but its lowkey fukked up that people are out here really feeling that way; which by and large is shaped by their experiences so you can't blame them entirely but its sad nonetheless.
