I just watched the 30 minute video on worldstar. Now I know it's a lot of speculation going around about Tyre sleeping with an officers wife, and the officers having gang ties, but it's hard to argue against that based on the footage.
1. They opened his car door immediately and forced him out like they knew exactly who they were approaching. Officer who opened his door didn't even think about his firearm. Which is extremely odd considering how they claim he was driving. Most officers will assume the worst in that type of situation and go hands on weapon to gain Immediate compliance.
2. They escalated force immediately to force passive resistance. Defensive hands up posture. Not giving up body position. Just enough to resistance for compliance strikes
3. When they had him pinned down on Castlegate they had several opportunities to maneuver him for a cuff. They had his hands several times, and instead of cuffing him, they just used them (hands and arms) as fulcrums to gain leverage, and move him around.
4. Another officer shows up, uncorks the baton, and looks for holes between the 3 officers holding Tyre down, so he can hit him with blows.
5. and the most telling in my opinion. At the 10:40 mark Tyre is lifted. The officer that lifts him appears at first that he's trying to gain leverage to slam him, but readjusts and holds his arms behind him. He's not cuffed, but is held there so another officer can unload 5 punches before Tyre passes back out, and falls to the ground.
6. 11:45 mark, more units show up. And immediately come over and start kicking Tyre.
7. They just let him die...No immediate medical attention. It was almost like they were mocking him "You can't go anywhere bro". Why no, "sir sit still, so we can assist you"? They just stood over him and let the life drain from his body.
There was not one instance where this didn't look like an orchestrated hit. Tyre was in a flight response the entire time and not once did he use a tone of defiance. Then the damn nerve to tell him to sit up, while he sat on the ground taking his last breaths. Then stood around nonchalantly laughing and getting their stories straight. "He punched at me."..."He reached for my gun". Don't put them in PC...Let them live with the wolves. I hope the inmates don't kill them, just make them wish they died every single day, and as much as they beg for mercy. as much as they beg to die, they're never given the gratification. They deserve hell.
