This is what trying to "change the police from within" get you. I legit knew a dude who wanted to “change the system from within”. He was raised pro-black but he idolized his grandfather who had been a police officer for like 20 years or something.


He lasted three years before he couldn’t take it anymore and quit. Said the racism he encountered from actually FOLLOWING THE RULES was unbearable and the corruption was breaking his spirit. He works in security now and when we talk about police brutality he said he would for each cop, white or black, its not matter of if but when because the philosophy if treating black people as inferior beings is CULTURAL within the system.

We Need more.black judges..lawyers..prosecutors..defense attorneys.

That fellow is right. It's definitely a cultural thing. It would take immense discipline to grow beyond it instead of within it. Average person isn't built like that.
