It doesn't sound like a long time, but three minutes is a LONG time to be in an altercation. Three minutes probably feels like an eternity when you're being beaten and restrained.
Boxers have to train their bodies to be able to fight for three minutes, the average civilian doesn't have that type of endurance.

You are right, very good point. Most people will read “3 minutes” and not give it too much thought but, like you said, it’s actually an eternity- especially for someone untrained. When we spar, it is two, 2-minute rounds. So basically a total of four mins per person you spar with. And let me tell you, those two minute rounds can be grueling. And that’s coming from someone who’s been doing it for YEARS now. I can’t imagine what 3 minutes of being beaten violently must’ve felt like for that young man.

Damn, Peace to Tyre. Look how quickly they charged these Black Cops. No Go fundme., No Blue Lives Matter. No He didn't comply. No Whites coming out defending the cops. The point is that's why we say it's a system, it's bigger than one cop or even these 5 cops. And it's time for them to step up and stop going along with the program. That's why I was happy John Singleton included that "Black Cop" Scene in "Boyz in the Hood" to show that just because there's a Black Cop doesn't mean they don't contribute to Police Abuse. Black People's humanity is not being recognized by the Police system whoever's behind the badge because these extreme incidents keep recurring. You do not get to play Judge Jury and Executioner over a Traffic Stop, Alleged Fake Twenty, or Alleged Selling cigarettes. This is a violation of constitutional and human rights. Police are given too much power in this Country. This is still White Supremacy at work because its a system.

why don't people understand the outrage comes from when there are no consequences and no action? Action was swift in this case and consequences are being dealt to the guilty. Anyone comparing this to the way white cops get paid leave and exoneration after killing Black people is being disingenuous.
