Memphis folks, y’all care to check in? hearing all sorts of shyt about high level police and clergy meeting, downtown businesses closing. all this right when they’re having the funeral for Lisa Marie, it does seem like MPD is bullshytting with the release of the footage so that her services /Graceland aren’t targeted

also really trying to remember whether one of those guys was my neighbor errr

Graceland is a huge moneymaker for the city, so there is likely some truth to that rumor as the memorial was this weekend. Plus the city doesn’t want to take the chance of a tourist getting in the crossfire as that will make the situation even worse.

I get it even if I don’t necessarily agree with it.
