The hilarious part is watching analysts on TV now act like they never thought the Lakers had a shot this year and pretend like there were so many "obvious" flaws with this team.

So we're not going to acknowledge the Celtics?

The Celtics haven't been consistently successful. They missed the playoffs 9 times in the past 20 years. The Lakers haven't missed the playoffs 9 times in the teams history (even if they miss the playoffs this season it wouldn't be 9 times).
The Celtics have more championships and that's it. Lakers have better winning percentage, more sustained success, more finals appearances (most in the league), the caliber of players the Lakers have had over the years is better. Half of the top 10 players in the history of the league are Lakers.
17 to 21, it's all that matters.
Nobody knew Howard would underachieve like this, i figured their post offense would suffer a bit from losing Bynum but Howard doesnt fit with this group, best chance is to trade him now for rudy gay or brook lopez imo.
