Shield vs New Day was definitely better than Almas vs Drew.

Put any of those NXT matches under either of the main brand and he would've scored them 1-2 stars lower

The Bar/Usos match were good...new day vs Shield was good..War Games was alright...Dream vs Black was good..and Styles vs Lesnar was much better than expected. The end of the women's match with Asuka was a stand out too

I thought the whole 6 stars and 6 1/4 stars shyt was finally going to expose how ridiculous is to take Dave's ratings seriously. Unless you just wanna have fun with it and troll I honestly don't see any purpose on his views, specially given how shytty his taste is when it comes to current wrestling

I genuinely want to know. Why is his opinion the most important? How does he determine the star ratings?

I think at this point there's a group who legit takes his ratings seriously because they see him as a sort of "Roger Ebert of wrestling" when it comes to match quality - which is fukking by itself but that's another topic - and in this day and age there's an obsession from fans of any form of entertainment to get their own opinions validated. Given that Dave is oldest and "most respected" wrestling journalist/critic, his views on stuff get dissected and talked about more than any other person.

It's fukking but it seems it will never go away.
