Again I never understood why he had any credibility in the first place. When ALL the legends and current crop of wrestlers say he is full of shyt and makes his money off of disgruntled employees leaking info to him so he can spoil major plans that were intended to entertain people. He seems miserable and wants to spoil the fun for everyone else.

Why does he seem to only get the dirt on wwe a company he hates so much but can never break a story or AEW, njpw or any of the other indies?

Becasue he isn’t reporting what’s told to him. He is trying to paint a narrative that wwe is bad and everything that’s happens bad is intentional or karma for their evil ways. Like these other companies are squeaky clean

I don't have a problem with WWE getting called out if they're doing bytch shyt, but Meltzer clearly has an agenda. He was very quick to report the positive COVID tests in the WWE, but everyone else had to report the other companies that had positive tests.

Meltzer rambles but I dont know if I would call him totally unprogressive either, but damn if he aint inconsistent. I feel like most of the things people dislike about his podcast fall on Bryan Alvarez.

When hes doing a Pod with Garrett Gonzales hes more tolerable.

Rosenberg activley disengages himself on his pod breh, it was bad. Like you had Greg sitting their reading the news and recaps and he's clearly distracted with his laptop and not interested.
Meltzer can geekout unecessairly at things like Being the Elite but to me hes not as harsh with the WWE stuff as Bryan is, and I think thats actually the guy people mean when they say the Observer shows are anti-WWE, Meltzer criticisms are what a lot of people say in general but I've also heard so many episodes where they argue about the shows.

I also think while hes big on AEW he has called them on their booking logic when its really bad. Whether he should do it more depends on how seriously you take Jim Cornette I guess lol
