Meltzer being full of shyt shouldn't surprise anyone beyond the fact that he's extremely friendly with the people behind the scenes at AEW he's essentially a shadow booker there seeing as Tony's tastes were moulded by reading/listening to Dave's shyt. He needs AEW to succeed and show Vince up more than most people because it legitimizes him too.

Bischoff never gave him the time of day, Vince used him until he outlived his usefulness and TNA probably never bothered to pick the phone up outside of the times Cornette was there this is finally his chance to have the ear of someone running a major promotion after all these years . Let him have his fun.

I don't fukk with Bad Bunny's music, but this dude is wild popular, has wild charisma, and has picked up the trade so well (no doubt in part to already being a huge wrestling fan).

Between this and Pat McAfee in NXT, WWE have been nailing it with who they bring in from the outside.

this is one of those reminders that people like Meltzer go around the internet with their shytty tastes in wrestling and pop-culture berating other casual wrestling fans. The guy with the most streams on spotify means something and for that person to be involved in your wrestling product is a good thing. Those streaming numbers don't like, this isn't like when wrestling nerds try to say something is a "draw" based on nothing.
