It does sound hokey as shyt BUT you also have to remember that this is all marketed to kids. We've also watched Undertaker "die" several times.

I gave up along time ago...when Shane pushed kane into a damn burning dumpster aka a pit on fire and escaped

HHH returning 2 weeks after crushed in a car

Paul bearer returning after being buried in fukking a container of cement

:mjlol:

What else

Jim Ross coming back a week or 2 after being burned on tv

Kane on life support and Shane McMahon voice bringing him to life via satellite :russ:

didn't watch the video or the segment but this stuff works better if you create the world for it. Lucha Underground can do this stuff and no one bats an eye because that is the world their storylines take place in. People die, and come back to life due to various reasons that are accepted by the audience because they have explained and shown the mythical aspect of their show. WWE doesn't know what they want to be "Real & UFC-lite" or "classic wrestling fukkery" and stuff like this sticks out because of that. When you just do things like that an offer no explanation or don't set the grounds for this being a possibility, then people question it because it frankly is insulting to your audience's intelligence. In the same show, Cole is telling me a wrestler is out with a viral infection, but Braun comes back from being in a trash compactor :why:

but it is wrestling (and WWE more so), so expecting brilliant TV writing might be setting yourself up for disappointment :francis:

Agreed.

I'm a fan of alter ego/supernatural stuff in pro wrestling so it's easy for me to suspend disbelief and just roll with it when it's time to. Finn and Cesaro covered the "good match" role last night

Braun has people's attention for brutality and is being positioned for the Undertaker/Kane role from the looks of it.

Nothing wrong with a gif/meme moment like the one they did last night, had the crowd groaned then yep complain

We don't need to see catch as catch can grappling nor thespian mastery from him right now folks wanna destruction, aliens, midgets getting thrown like spiral passes and shyt being destroyed and blown up when he's involved.

They already established that with Braun though...when Reigns tried to kill him they had him crawling out of the ambulance showing he's indestructible.
