Punk would NEVER EVER come back to wrestle Triple H at Wrestlemania. That's why he walked out in the first place.

"Why do I need to wrestle you? YOU need to wrestle me." :wow:
but dude got humbled in UFC by a no name scrub

he need to come back like every other washed up star, humble himself, and fall in line....also known as.....

Punk siding with Rousey gives him some mainstream exposure. He's the guy "carrying" her in the match. Just like Lashley was Trump's represenative.

That's why it's worse -- he'd just be a pawn. Dude walked out on a 1v1 with Triple Age sayin' "I don't need to wrestle you, you need to wrestle me." He defintiely doesn't need to be part of this mess. Main event of significance or nothing. No "special attraction" or "co-main event." Been there, done that.:birdman:

so you saying Punk too good to help out a younger talent (Ron is 30) and help him crossover to Punk's former world of WWE?

Its not like he's some blonde bimbo fitness model in the performance center as a rookie.

Its Ron Derousey. He was a big star in UFC but got knocked off his pedestal. Punk could come back and help bring his fame back and this time in WWE. Plus, I'm sure Ron was a Punk fan back in the day.

Punk pushing 40, he's washed.

What are you talking about? :dahell:

Ron doesn't need to get a rub from an established legend to get over. She'll get over just on her fame alone. It's Ron Darousey, not Paige VanZant.

Also, Punk won't have to "fall in line" to comeback. He'll get the Batista/Goldberg treatment of Cokeboy rolling out the red carpet welcoming his return. If Cokeboy dies before Punk returns, he'll probably never comeback as a wrestler.

Most importantly..he's not a big enough star to be in such a position.

If CM Punk ever comes back, they'd do best to not mention his UFC run at all. Ronda was exposed as a fighter with poor striking, who can't beat the best female fighters, while CM Punk was exposed as a guy who probably couldn't beat half the fans.

Purists don't write history homie. That moment is purely going to be Rhonda's now. History is written by those with the power and the ability to write it. WWE is going to make sure that moment is emboldened on the minds of young fans for years to come so Asuka winning will just be the footnote. Doesn't mean she won't do big things and she will, but all the media pub has been about Rhonda today and will continue to be for the foreseeable future
Yeah how is that WCW revisionist history working? Or the DX one? They got booed last time...I've been watching this for years. If Ronda bust, all the revised anything won't mean shyt. This is the YouTube era...nothing legitimate will be forgotten.
