I don't even think he's talking about how much Lin is getting paid. I think it has more to do with how the contract is set up. The $10,000 raise in the third year, just to put the knicks in a horrible financial situation. It IS rediculous. And if Lin really WANTED to play for the knicks, he wouldn't have put them in that predicament...Lin could have have just went back to NY and asked for the original 4 year contract after Houston tried to pull the contract thing.

It seems clear to me that for some reason Lin didn't really want to be back, because the deal essentially made it impossible for the knicks to retain him
.

Lins mentor is Yao Ming he probably had him like go to the rockets it'll be your team and with no pressure . In ny if he struggles that Love turns to hate quick ask melo . Stat arod etc
Im sure melo meant the structure of the contract not the money . And the renegotiation of a offer sheet is a shady move never heard of that :aicmon:
He will Just say its a misquote.melo has to win anyway so hell get hated unless the Knicks are top 3 in the east

basically, nikka should be worrying about improving not the knicks front office problems

did you read the quote? He said "it's NOT up to me"

sound like he was asked a random question

Melo doesn't deserve every dollar he makes, he makes more than lebron durant and wade.

:rudy:

Didn't you just say speakin on another man's paper is some hoe shyt? Yet here you are doing it.

All 3 of them (Wade, Bron and Durant) gave discounts cause their team had other people to sign. They didn't want their market value and that's there fault not Melo's.

I think it's hilarious that most of the people in this thread think Lin's contfract is remedial, but still find it sideways that Melo said something about it. Melo ain't fukking with dude's money. Lin getting that money regardless, but it's still a dumb contract from a performance standpoint. They'll make their money back with jersey sales alone, but I hope Lin been working on dribbling drills this offseason or this gonna be a long year for him.

the fukk is wrong with yall niqqas?

Alan Hahn did tweeted out the clarification so the media would risk being called out for trying to instigate shyt when there's valid clarification from the same source as the original drama tweets
