bytch move to hate on his contract though, it's not even that bad of a contract really, if you take out that $15 million third year, the average a year is $7million. I have seen MUCH worse. Even if he doesn't play like he did, marketing will make up for the deal.

If the Knicks match, in the 2014 season Lin alone will cost them 40 million

Lin is an average (at best) PG who fluke-balled for a whopping TWO WEEKS and now wants All-star money :rudy:

I mean yeah, but that's because of Luxury Tax, Knicks did that to themselves.

The contract is ridiculous because it's giving a guy, who wouldn't be a starter on half the teams in the league, max-level money in the last year.

Melo is not fukking with Lin's money. He will be getting paid the same amount for the 3 years. It's just structured differently for the Knicks. 8/8/8 or 5/5/14

14.9 in the end with the tax will be in the 30-40mill range the Knicks will have to pay for Lin. Do anyone really think he's worth that? Lin fukked us over by signing that shyt in the first place.

Jeremy Lin can be very, very good. He's young. This is his second year in the league, his first time actually playing in the NBA, so he's definitely taking advantage of this oportunity. I don't think you've seen the best of Jeremy Lin yet. We're hoping he comes back, he's prepared and ready. For what I'm hearing he seems like he is."

Melo said this yesterday.....

HoopsHype - Carmelo Anthony dishes on Knicks, Olympics and more

But nah lets run with this random quote, Melo could be talking bout the poison pill in the contract, or anything.

Lets be real the new york media been trying to sabotage Melo from Day 1

They made up shyt about him wanting to be traded last yr cmon now
