What role players did Dirk take through the West? Dirk has always played on loaded squads. Do y'all even know what ISO ball is? Name a superstar that doesn't play ISO ball. The closest is Klay and he's not a superstar.
Melo is ALL ISO.

The true superstars in this league move the ball around. That "He has no teammates" excuse can only go so far. That dude literally eats the ball on the wings 90% of the time only to force a bad shot or pass it right at the last second when there is no time for things to develop.

Melo is not a superstar.

Paul Milsap is mad nice but come on B you nikkas go too far..

Plus look at your avi you nothing but a fan..
Offense..defense..success.

Sorry I don't base my opinions on a isolation highlight reel. Paul milsap a top 3 defender at PF and has never missed the playoffs as the hawks #1 option..

But go on:dame:

I like how people base everything on statistics while ignoring shyt like DEFENSE and how Butler/Kawhi/etc mostly shyt on Melo's defense. he actually has improved in recent years, but he's nowhere near their level on defense.

The fact you think Dirk and Blake are better than Millsap is pretty funny. Dirk is beyond washed and Millsap's defense shyts on theirs.

Kawhi is the best perimeter defensive player on the league. So his defense sh*ts on everyones. And their are only a handful of GREAT defenders who are 2 way players.

When did Lowry or any of those other cats win a scoring title? Was I in a coma when this happened???

Dirk is much better than Melo all-time. Even suggesting that Melo can have a "Dirk-Like" Run is implying that he is good enough to take a team of bunch of role players through the west...Melo can't even make the playoffs in the East. At his absolute Apex he took the knicks to the second round...I mean come on. Melo's best years were in Denver and that's before the game was changing and ISO Ball was still effective.

This really bothers my fellow knicks fans, but i am just being honest.

You're exposing yourself, you're not a Knicks fan.

Who is taking a team of Jose Calderon, Quincy Acy, Lou Admunson, Bargnani, Sam Dalembert, THJR, Shane Larkin, Cleanthony Early, Langston Galloway & Cole Aldrich to the playoffs.

I'll say Melo better than al horford though
I get it.. Melo did not look good to me last year.. He's most def in the top 25.. Now that I think about it 15 is pretty good for him :russ:

Melo is not a superstar.

So what does Lebron do? He has the ball for 90% of the shot clock, while his teammates stand around. They never even move off their spots. That's ISO ball. Chris Paul dribbles in-and-out for ever and catches Blake or Deandre on the lob. That's ISO ball. Curry dribble-dribbles then pulls up from half court - ISO ball. Durant - ISO. He just triple threats for a shorter period of time than Melo. Harden. The whole penetrate-kick offense is ISO ball. Franchise got killed for playing like that. Post-ups even though no longer used in NBA is ISO. Screen-rolls are isolation-designed plays. The last team I saw that truly didn't play ISO was the ECF Champ Nets. They were all Princeton cuts. When was the last time you saw a motion offense in profession ball? Moving the ball around doesn't necessarily mean it's not ISO.

Dirk catch and held-jab steps, pump fakes...a less effective triple threat. Hell, they went to finals playing all 1-on-1. Melo uses the triple threat. Watch him use it when his teammates are cutting vs moving around. He also played off the ball when he had a PG - Dre Miller, Chauncey, Kidd.

There's nothing wrong with ISO ball. There's no point in having a premier player if you can't use him. That's what they're there for. It's Hero Ball that you should worry about.
