Too many perfect games, more than a third in history in the past 3 years. We need some steroids and PED back in the game

or you can just watch something else :manny:

Pitchers inherently control the game. With the way the ballparks are designed, it's making it easier. When a pitcher is on his A+ game, there's nothing better to watch.

As a former pitcher I agree, I'd rather watch a 0-0 two hitter into the 9th then a 12-11 game.
but we still had great pitchers. Pedro Martinez is the best pitcher ever and he pitched during the roid era in Fenway, a guy like Felix would be great regardless but its the Philip Humbers and Dallas Braydens of the world that shouldnt be getting perfect games left and right

Beleive me if every game was 1-0 you would get bored real quick, I agree once in a while its nice but the idea that if you like offense you arent a fan of the game is complete bullshiiit that the old boys club in baseball tries to perpetuate, youll never find a bigger fan than me and I like offense.

A perfect game is just that, a perfect game.

Of course not every game can be 1-0, and I didn't say you can't like offense. I said since I was a pitcher I enjoy watching a pitchers dual more then a high scoring game. Not everyone gotta be like me.

More importantly, Pedro Martinez the greatest pitcher of all time? I can name about 9 pitchers off top I'd rank above him, top 10 pitcher isn't as much of stretch.

Mike Witt has a perfect game. Kenny Rogers has a perfect game. Tom Browning has a perfect game. A perfect game isn't only limited to the elite. It's baseball. Anyone can do anything on any given day.

And no one's saying that they don't like offense. shyt, if you wanna see offense, just watch Ivan Nova and Phil Hughes pitch. They supply enough offense.

Timely hitting >>>> hitting in of itself. That's the only downside of a decrease in offensive production. Runners LOB is a generally annoying thing unless you're rooting for the pitcher.
