San Francisco Giants left fielder Melky Cabrera might want to cross off the Atlanta Braves from his list of possible suitors in free agency this offseason after drawing the ire of their players and fans during this week’s series at Turner Field.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Cabrera’s questionable antics included a rude gesture to fans in the left field bleachers on Tuesday, a slow homer trot Wednesday and a crotch-chop-like motion after Gregor Blanco’s homer in the 11th inning Wednesday.

Braves third baseman Chipper Jones, a former teammate of Cabrera’s in Atlanta and a teammate of his on this year’s NL All-Star team, was among those who disapproved of Cabrera’s attitude.

“That’s Melky, and that’s why he’s not here anymore. … He got a little happy when Blanco hit the home run. It won’t be forgotten,” Jones told The Journal-Constitution.

Braves reliever Eric O’Flaherty threw high and tight to Cabrera in the eighth inning Wednesday, sending the All-Star MVP tumbling to the dirt.

Cabrera was traded from the New York Yankees to the Braves before the 2010 season, and he hit .255 with four homers, 42 RBIs and a .317 on-base percentage in his only season with Atlanta.]
