Sign 7 year extensions with a perennial losing franchise then retire when that same franchise continues to lose brehs

nikkas kill me with this hindsight shyt like they couldn't have surmised what was gonna happen when they re-sign, extend, or whatever. It would be like Larry Fitz crying (even tho his team is somewhat good at least) when he had the chance to go to the Pats and shyt. Gotta get ya paper for sure but don't act shocked at the results.

Another one :mjpls:

What's crazy about that statement is the word "gave". The Lions didn't GIVE Mega anything, he earned that money. That's the statement of a slave owner mentality, those people act like players owe them something for what they earned.

I wish I would find that video of the younger Black breh slapping the hell out of a 80 something white breh for paying him $10 for 3 hours worth work, white audacity brehs, white audacity.

Why resign though?

Lions were on the come up when he re-signed though . In 2011 they had their best record since the 90's and made the playoffs. Matt Stafford was looking like a future star...

Ok this doesn't sit well with me. He quit because the team sucked, so he was willing to stay in the league and get further injuries if he played for a contender?

Leaving the game because of body issues is fine, but throwing your ex team under the bus aint cool.

nikka whut,...
Them NFL owners are all carni's.
They don't give one iota of a fukk.
Why should megatron keep giving a fukk about your org and the very people in the org.
really don't give a fukk about the org.
or people in the org for real. Just stop.

You don't sign long term with a team to lose, you sign cause you feel like changes can be made and the team can improve to an eventual contender/eventual champion.

Ask me back in the day if the GS Warriors, Baltimore Ravens, KC Royals, Chicago Whitesox, Red Sox (3x), Cubs, (shyt, even Leicester City won the Premiere League :dead:) could've won and I would'a said NO. But those teams made changes and won, Calvin was just hoping for the same thing, you can't really blame him for signing long term. The build around him just never came :yeshrug: I applaud that brother for getting out with money, health, and his youth.
