This is Nicki re-upping that same sympathy play through her fans that she did with Cardi. In the thick of her and Cardi's beef, Atlantic Records was out to get her, stopping her bag, etc. Now it's RocNation because The Carter's 1)Never chose a side with her and Cardi and 2) took Meg under their wing and really helped her through her court cases.

Nicki used to weaponize her relationship with Beyoncé against the other girls, she was only one who had songs with her, but Meg changed that.

Naaaah don’t try to make Nicki look like a victim and a charity case. Unlike Drake/Meek, Nicki is a bigger star than Megan and has been for years, but she’s the one that started it, one lone line from Meg’s song clearly hit her like a knife to the chest as she went on a rant for 48 years before even putting a song out, making herself look like a dusty drugged up crazy woman. Social media didn’t make her look like that, she did. Then she turned around and dropped one of the worst diss songs in history. ROC Nation and Savage Fenty didn’t do that, Nicki did herself.

This, 1000x. Nicki cry so much people keep forgetting she is also signed to one of the biggest *major* labels with just as much financial support, or more, than the other girls. She’s not an indie artist, she had that huge backing from CM/YM except she was the only woman in the business getting the support at the time so no one had any reason to complain the way she does now. This isn’t a Pusha T vs. Drake situation because MSM didn’t know or care about Pusha so they reported positively on who they knew best. But Nicki has been the only female rapper most white people know and they have always loved her.

She has been taking various shots at Megan since 2020. If the media really hated her, they would’ve clocked and amplified that each time. MSM doesn’t need to manipulate anything when it comes to Nicki. There is literally no way to objectively report on her actions the past 3 years without sounding like you’re against her.
