Heard only a few Meg songs so don’t know her talent. However, one of the biggest myths in hip hop is that Nicki is a great rapper. She’s like shyt era Eminem, has her moments but always over does the flows, accents and the lyrics are forced. This just confirmed that for me.

Again, my final takeaway from this is that it started from a mention of law relating to pedos. A mention, not even a name drop

Nicki came up in an era with no competition so she was just the best female rapper for like a decade by default. Then these last 5 years when you’ve got Cardi, Doja Cat, Latto, Meg and all these other female rappers she ain’t been taking it well. She’s still better than most of them other than Doja Cat but she doesn’t make better music than them and has lost a lot of favor culturally in comparison.

The two aren’t mutually exclusively and one exacerbates the other. Ultimately I think the two of them suffer from insecurity because they just can’t breakthrough that last level of critical acclaim and super stardom. I’m talking the Drake, Kendrick, Cole, Kanye, Jayz level. Nicki certainly came close and there’s a point you can argue she was there but her output was really lack luster. She’s got 5 albums in 13 years and imo none of them are even close to classics.

Now they’re both stuck on Twitter constant complaining and trying prove who they are and what they’ve done.
