also, the Savage Remix..can we keep it a buck and say that Beyonce demon time/onlyfans shyt was one of the corniest things in music this year ?

I just told you that her shyt goes platinum.

Sales don't stop after the first week unless you're Nas.

Savage was a solo song that was already No 2 before the Beyonce feature.

Which project went Platinum

Savage got saved by a TikToker shyt was doing nothing before the dance

Y’all both right. The money wasn’t put behind Savage but it caught fire and the rest is history

these were the 2 singles from her last album that flopped before Savage got tik tokked

:francis:I see where this is going, why speak on this during your album release date

Megan Thee Stallion says in a new interview that Tory Lanez offered hush money to herself and her friend following the shooting.

Megan Thee Stallion is several days away from one of the biggest dates in her career thus far: the release of her debut studio album. To this date, she has impressed her fanbase with full-length releases in Suga, Fever, and more. After garnering worldwide attention and #1 records with her mixtapes, it's finally time for Megan to deliver her story on an album.

As she continues teasing the arrival of the album on social media, the Houston-bred Hottie is speaking out about her infamous incident this summer, which resulted in her being shot in both of her feet.

In a new interview with GQ, Megan reveals that, directly after the shooting, Tory Lanez offered to pay her and her best friend hush money to remain silent about the whole thing.

"Like, I never put my hands on nobody. I barely even said anything to the man who shot me when I was walking away. We were literally like five minutes away from the house," says Megan about what happened in the car prior to her getting out. "[At this point] I'm really scared because this is like right in the middle of all the protesting," she adds, revealing that Tory offered to give her and Kelsey Nicole, who witnessed the incident, money to stay silent. "Police are just killing everybody for no reason, and I'm thinking, ‘I can't believe you even think I want to take some money. Like, you just shot me.’"

GQ reports that Tory Lanez denies offering money to Megan and Kelsey.

I hate how she and her team hi-jacked "protect Black women" in order to get sympathy so that you "hate Black women" if you give any valid feedback. Especially after she's been caught up saying so much stuff (contracts, the shooting, etc) that has been proven :stopitslime:.

There is no way that she is Rapper of the Year over Lil Baby or even Roddy Rich. Absolutely impossible on any metric. Yet, she is being crowned this by all the industry.

Funny thing is that she really does ehh numbers compared to other rappers. If you ever want to see a major push for somebody who isn't all the way ready for it, here you go.

Word.

I don't use social media so I don't really know how these songs get famous I just hear of the song and then my wife tells me it was a tick tock song.

Example... my wife and her friends were listening to that whole lot of Choppas song and I found it it was a Tick Tick song.

The solo savage was stalling outside the top 10 for 3-4 weeks.. it was peaking until Beyoncé’s remix pushed it to #4 with 2/3 days sales, with a full week, the remix was pushed to #2 and eventually #1. after peaking on top of the charts, the remix hovered in the top 5 for over a month after it peaked at 1. Without the remix, there’s no guarantee that it would have even entered the top 10.. by the time Beyonce came and breathed new life into it, the tiktok hype was nearly gone

Girls in the hood and don’t stop are not any good

I wonder how terrible the beat is on that dababy song. I know they have a hit together but that beat is bad too
