Yeah even though it's getting ripped apart... I still wanna see it :skip:

Looks interesting plus great/legendary directors are always worth peeping IMO. There are so many films that get bad reviews from those types of guys and then I end up liking them, or finding some aspect interesting/impressive. Coppola's Dracula got terrible reviews for instance. I love that movie...sure it has flaws but there's so much great shyt in there that it overweighs that.

Was it executed well? all the reviewers understand the themes and the ambition behind the film, that's not the issue

The fact that FFC is on camera being a creep on set, and the fact that he funded it with his own money, intrigues me even me because clearly dude is on some Kamikaze shyt

I might use it as an excuse to get faded and have a burger this week

It was executed decently. You know, at some point, I really don’t know what people expect anymore. For the last couple of years, most movies have followed the same formula. Now, we have a film that takes a different approach, touching on political themes, abstract thought, and metaphysical consciousness in a unique, somewhat eccentric way. It’s not something we've seen before, and because it's a bit unconventional—kind of like *The Matrix*—people have issues with it. But not everything has to be perfect. Sometimes, you have to appreciate the beauty in a movie’s flaws, just as much as you appreciate its strengths.

Scorsese is the only ‘70s auteur that has held up in the modern era.

Ridley Scott has made a lot of :trash: since Gladiator.
Like what?

His only "trash" movie has been Napoleon but I give that a pass since it's basically a documentary.

Beyond that...EVERY movie he has done has been entertaining in it's own genre....

hahahahahahaha

dumbass ruined his winery and lost $116M of his own fortune! :lolbron:

couldnt have happened to a better director. Francis Ford Coppedo is exactly who i picture when the internet gossips about 'hollyweird'

makes me sick how much they LOVE Coppedo here in Tulsa. if you didnt know, his films Rumble Fish and The Outsiders were filmed here. the city preserved that busted ass Outsiders house from the movie and made it into a museum.

city is so desperate for an identity and culture they got museums from fictional movies but took 100 years to recognize a race massacre and STILL wont break the survivors off some funds :pacspit:

yet the city got millions and millions for a big park for families and pedo museums. make it make sense

tl;dr fukk francis ford coppola
