You guys know this how recording contracts always been. They always charge the costs on the artists share of the returns. Back on the day artist would get 10 cents per album but all the costs were recouoable on that 10cdnts that’s why artists back then can go platinum and still be in the red. That’s how they kept them in those slave deals because they’d run their debts on to the next album
