Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I have to reread but I believe he stated he only gets 30% of her show money.
Whatever it is, he has gotten a damn thing in months and she’s owes.

This is typical though. Broke rapper signs slave deal to local “label”. Label gets her hot enough to go to the big labels/management. Big label tries to cheat/steal/lowball the local label. Somebody wins.

smart labels keep a percentage of that artist forever and never budge. A dumb nikka gonna take the cash.

Dude has a signed contract from a sober adult. She ain’t going nowhere or doing shyt unless he says so. This is not winnable. These are all for negotiation on the settlement that will come.

J Prince will need his cut too so that will be a huge settlement. Carl Crawford has baseball money so he isn’t hurting for a check and picture with Jay Z.

She is still in business with the dude(T Farris) who actually drafted the contract!
This is all to cut Crawford out of the picture because they don't need his money anymore.

But he still gambled on them when they had nothing, so let the man eat.
didn't T Farris fall out with SwishaHouse and Paul Wall for doing shady business?

She is also on the hook for libel as well, she publicly stated Carl was a dirty businessman, if he has the receipts of checks going to her and she is cashing them, she is cooked...

Once the foresnsic accounting gets popping off.....it is gonna be a Hot Girl Summer for real...

Being honest almost every music exec in Houston is guilty of shady business, but yea he's been in controversies in the past.
exactly

Roc Nation will pay Carl his 2 million and more to take over Megan and I honestly don’t see her being bigger than what she is

The thing is I'm not sure that they can buy Carl out, this isn't about money for him, it's about his dream of being a successful music exec, he wants to be Birdman or J.Prince, and one thing those dudes don't budge on is ownership of music they helped produce.

Long term money on music always beats out the upfront money eventually, it's just a matter of you being good enough financially to let the value of the music catalog grow.

I think at best they manage to get him to take a smaller cut by paying him a lot of money, but I don't think they'll get him to give her up completely.

true,,, but i think for Carl it’s better to take the extra money, keep everything Megan done with the label and let her bounce,, instead of sitting with her on the label and she refusing to ever record again and even continue to diss the label

Man Slip-N-Slide and Tony Draper eat off majority of Rick Ross music til this day.

Lol southern music execs don't get bought out for the most part, and he got J. Prince in his ear. Major labels haven't been able to buy J.Prince out of any of the YBN kids, dude doesn't believe in selling ownership.
