Meek said the shoe cost 300 in the store but dude was charging him 500. Meek probably felt like he was getting taxed. Plus his advice was solid. If you try to pay Meek to do a commercial for your business I guarantee it would cost more than $500.

Sure it might cost more than $500 but you must also consider whether the asking price is congruent with the market value. In other words, would a Meek commercial be valuable to that guy's business, seems like he doesn't think so and I'm inclined to agree with him.

Im not a hypebeast at all but those sneakers are currently selling for $500 on resell sites like GOAT and stockX. If Meek was able to buy the same show at the retail price of $300, he shouldve walked away and gone there instead. And now that reseller got free promo anyway because he's on camera standing his ground.

Like others have said, i wouldnt trust meek to follow through on anything. Id personally make him do the "commercial" first, and then show love. Because you know pressing Meek to honor his word wouldve made him get super gangsta since he only fears white people and lawyers, which that guy was neither

That's the wrong place to try to get a 40% deal. All them kids with shyt ton of money there that will buy at listed/reseller market price. A celeb isn't gonna move the needle one bit for a reseller. hell, next year the price will be double,.
