Cant hate on these guys though. Whoever is cutting his cheque told him what to do. What meek did was career suicide. He knew what would happen. Drakes backing is like Eminent back in 03 vs Benzino.
:ohhh:Good point. Benzino was dead in the public's eye from the first bar. I'm impartial because I don't really like Meek or Drake as artists but with Em and Benzino there was literally nothing Benzino could say to win that battle - especially being a lower tier rapper. Meek may have a good point (just like Beninzo had a good point) about Drake stealing flows and lyrics but Meek already lost to non hip hop fans and Drake stans. The only way Meek can recover is if he has legit dirt or real exposure for Drake and backs it up with bars, flow, even more aggression and (hate to say :snoop: this but) a danceable beat.

Drake winning the fight on points. Charged Up has more memorable lines than this does. I desperately want Meek to finish Drake but I must call it how I see it. I expected more and Meek didn't deliver. 1 sided fight so far.

This. Meek seems to have the truth on his side, but, ymu still got to rap well. Guess he thought the clip would be enough. I almost dont wanna hear more. Hearing this reminded me--thru the anticipation--Meeks not that good of a rapper. Maybe the only one, in the fight, actually writing, but, this is weak.

Cool. Who's put out the better music consistently? Drake or Meek Mill?

I don't listen to either. So...

But, I thought this was about Drake defending himself against ghost writing allegations.

Yeah... If not for the media, Meek's mushmouth, struggle bars would have ended Drake's career.
Meek was incoherent, his lyrics didn't flow and he couldn't stay on topic. He was never going to win this battle. He has a lane, this ain't it. LL, Canibus, Pac, Biggie, Beans, Jay and Nas all were coherent rappers. They could get their point across and stay on subject. Why is he talking about platinum wrist and chicks, we don't care about that. We wanted him to go into the getting pissed on part. Even Pastor Troy stayed on topic with No Mo Play in GA.

Meek should've stayed focused on the diss. Keep it on Drake's authenticity. Dismantle the shots sent towards him, and then use those speeches. shyt. He coulda even used the Tuna Sandwich video and the Too Good vine as ammo, on some The Warning by Eminem shyt. THEN he should've went at him for questioning why every time someone new signs to OVO, they don't blow but HIS style changes, ducking Kendrick, and how The Weeknd basically gave him a style to run with. Bring up how he got slapped by Diddy and never bossed up, maybe even add in the Mia Khalifa fukkery too. Just be straight disrespectful.

Dunno though. In the public eye, he was dead as soon as he sent out the first tweet.

Naw Cassidy and Meek was both solid but Cass won. Cass is a better rapper end of the day. My thing is regardless, it should already be over.

Ghostwriter? OVER.
Being fake? OVER.
Buying your way to winning a beef? OVER.

I look at hip-hop completely different now. Shid is square now.
Cassidy won lyrically but look back on this board and everywhere else that's not the popular opinion .
And stop with the ghostwriter over nonsense , a real hiphop head knows a lot of rappers Do songs with inputs from others also if you give credit it's not a ghostwriter ) the tracks show drake doesn't even use most of the lines that QM uses so it's not like dre or Diddy it's more a collaboration , we don't know how drake shapes and creates songs , maybe since he was on tour they were sending stuff back and forth and all we hearing is quentins part . I find it hard to believe that drake wasn't exposed years ago if he couldn't write.
