It feels like Meek vs Everybody. I've never seen so many people blindly defend a rapper getting exposed. It's not even about bars. It's about protecting their golden boy no matter what.

I'm not a big Meek fan(don't even own one of his albums) but this whole reaction to his diss feels fake and manufactured.

I could careless about these two nikkas like that. I'm on neither side so I'm gonna look at it from a non bias standpoint.

I like the fact that Drake responded. He had every right too. Anytime a nikka challenges your pen, You have every right to throw shots back. I give him credit for stepping into the ring instead of doing the typical "tweet and delete then be cool later" response or throwing guess who diss records.

However I hate the fact that you have Corporations such as Apple, Burger King, Nike, Beats by Dre, The New York times piggybacking off this beef and trying to offer their two cents when they don't regularly invest into the culture or have no clear knowledge of it is what I have problems with.

Anything Meek was gonna drop was gonna be dismissed by his stansbase and cake nikkas because they had their mind made up either way. When you have publications and outlets actually championing Drake as the winner before Meek even responded on wax(Complex, Media-takeout, Bossip,) The fix was already in for dude. Then you're having clowns like Charlamagne actually supporting this fraudulent behavior as if its ok to have ghostwriters as long as the music sounds crisp and good didn't help either.


Meek however played his cards wrongly. You'd think since he started it, he'd thought this out alot more. He should have threw shots when he was in Drake's turf, He could have sent a diss record right back to counter Turned up instead of Tweeting. He underestimated Drake and his support system so that backed him in a corner to where he had to say something ASAP. Fukkboy Flex didn't help matters either with his pumpfaking and turning this into a "Fabolous getting lost finding a studio scenario" for days.

The Undertaker opening was hot, The beat drop was dope and he had some jabs here and there but he should have gotten more disrespectful. Hopefully he has another one in the chamber.
