Listened to it in traffic this morning, off first listen I think it’s definitely Meek’s best project. Also could be giving Victory Lap a challenge for my AOTY :lupe:

Songs like 'what's beef" are 20+ years old now. they're open season for being sampled/flipped just like 70's and 80's songs were in the 90's. Every time it happens now it feels weird, reminds me I'm getting old. Then I remember how lame I thought older folks were for complaining about my generation sampling their classics in the 90's and check myself.

So after Juice Wrld song went #1, I pulled my son to the side and played him Nas - The message, then the original Sting song so at least he knows his history. :yeshrug:
