Solid album, a 3-4 skippable tracks that are either business dealings or purely for sales. Song with Future is trash and the one with Drake isn't close to their previous dealings.

Other than that the outro and Championships that's Meek in his best form :wow:

I’m halfway thru this jawnt. Meek picked up where Jeezy stopped at having fye album intro. I’m glad they delivered on What’s Free sheesh. Hov went ultimate instinct and hit the Biggie laugh out the booth. I had to put that on repeat for sure. I was vibing til Splash Warning that’s gonna be a skip for me. Stay Woke could replace that easily. Championships brought back in though.

too many rehashed samples w/ trap drums for my liking. at the midpoint its just ok to me.
Songs like 'what's beef" are 20+ years old now. they're open season for being sampled/flipped just like 70's and 80's songs were in the 90's. Every time it happens now it feels weird, reminds me I'm getting old. Then I remember how lame I thought older folks were for complaining about my generation sampling their classics in the 90's and check myself.

So after Juice Wrld song went #1, I pulled my son to the side and played him Nas - The message, then the original Sting song so at least he knows his history. :yeshrug:

On a very quick skim, it's too long and too many crowd pleasers, but I get it. I don't know how I feel about so many classic samples, they don't seem to hit the way I would want them to. But, I'm 33, there is a whole generation that wont't even recognize those samples like that, so I'm not mad at it. The intro is fire too. Meek still should tighten his bars more.

Yeah same here . its kinda crimgeworthy to hear songs we grew up on sampled and flipped to modern day standards but that's what hip hop is about. Once I get past my nostalgia, I listen with fresh ears and judge it accordingly.
