The black Muslim rebel leaders and their soldiers aren’t even “real Muslims” by the definition and neither are they Arabs so I wouldn’t even call it a spread of “Islam” like it’s an actual religious movement.
I bet they don’t even pray 5 times a day and all that stuff, and certainly don’t know the Quran word for word (they don’t speak Arabic) and believe in it.
HOWEVER they know being in a Muslim gang gives them license to oppress, murder, rape, plunder the “infidel” Christian communities and conquer them in the name of Allah
Oh and they get “72 virgins” if they die fighting
It’s like a “win-win” religious pipe dream.
