Clubs in general IMO are outdated.
The new bars with good music, a lil open space for ppl to dance, some random games (arcade or just regular shyt like big jenga) and some good music.
Problem is the club is really the only spot you can go and get real fresh streetwear wise and not look out of place.
Most mixed bars you cna get in with jeans, no jordans, and a decent shirt.
One thing i miss about Caribana was the soca parties.....i bagged so much guyanese puss at that wild water kingdom event.

Yeah true, its just different in the day light in the south. Especially around summer time in the heat. You gonna want to wear as little as possible.
All of these womens inspiration on social media be getting they fits off in the comfort of their own home for a photoshoot, or at the club when the sun is down.
Really the only other place for them to go and be fly is brunch

nikka I miss the night before caribana when you'd spend the whole night on Yonge Street Hollering at bytches.
All those Freaknik style events were the opposite of clubs it was all about hollering at hoes.
Damn I feel for young nikkas That PRD parade slowly killed all of that shyt.
That reminds me. I've been in strip clubs that turned into regular parties. I went to one hood club in Jacksonville when the I'm so Hood remix came out and everyone turned up. I was in Georgia when one of those dance instuction songs came on and everyone started doing the dance. I hated that shyt and even I joined in. The last time I was in a club in Baltimore when No Flex Zone came on and again it was like Al Bundy in the Jiggly room everyone just got on stage and danced.
I noticed one other thing. Back in the day whenever someone played Hot nikka They did his dance. I get it that it's old but I'm low key surprised that no one did the dance.

Bingo. In the 2000s they played music you can dance to almost the whole night, or even vibe to. Now it's nothing but trap music...lol I'm glad I grew up in a different era.
