It definitely was. 04-06 was the prime time when it first opened. I worked there. During that time it became the premiere spot after Vision lost that edge, then closed. Compound then was THE spot to be seen. The Gidewons bought it and Compound became more of a venue than a nightclub if that makes sense. Before that, most certainly was a great dance club.
AG the one who turned it into hollywood, no surprise.

Alex been throwing parties in Atlanta since 1995

Here’s a pic from his party at HU with bad boy in 1995. His right hand man Steve Solomon on far right

My boy fabe who used to roll with Dallas Austin used to always talk about how AG was homeless before he started promoting. Dude came up big time.

Not a single person in that party will die from covid :camby:

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Nobody dies from the common cold but that don't mean you go out trying to catch it. Why don't you ask the posters in here who have had Covid how it was and if it was worth catching? I have yet to meet a person in my nearly 36 years of life that gets happy when they get sick, no matter if they die or not.

So glad I live up in Boston and nowhere near goofies like those in the videos. What a clown show of a city Atlanta is. Black people dropping left and right from the Rona, yet these mask less idiots cram themselves in a club. It’s sad and embarrassing.

:unimpressed:
the posts I’ve seen from you make a lot of sense now
