- The common cold is also a coronavirus

- more people get infected with the common cold during the fall and winter as opposed to the summer

so why are gyms closed in side but open outside (in cold weather) if its more likely to catch the cold that way ?

2 million people contracted the coronavirus over the last 10 days. That's 17% of the total cases over the last 10 days. That's 50,000 bodies over the next 2-3 weeks if the death rate is 2.5%.

Elon Musk counted 2 times in that 2 million and dont forget Erykah Badu's left nostril.

the CDC website says Georgia death rate has gone down tremendously. To lower than it was on lock down from March til May.

Then opened in June, and the rate peaked in August and since then has gone down to what it was in March. So how they death rates go down by over 50% but they opened 100% fully ?

COVID-19 Status Report

Georgia death rate per 100,000 in April - 41 per 100,000 (on full lockdown)
Georgia death rate per 100,000 7 day average yesterday - 27 per 100,000 (fully open)

who lying? This from CDC themselves :camby:

Again, you're being misleading by saying the death rate fell by over 50%. Going from 41 to 27 is not a drop of over 50%.

Furthermore, you continue to leave out important statistics, including the cases per 100k.

On April 30, it was total cases per 100k was at 232.9.

As of yesterday, the same statistic was at 3,661.

More people are catching COVID, and the death rate is in line with the national rate of 2%.

Why are you still trying to downplay this again? What is your purpose??

You are playing dumb.

georgia highest death over 7 days was 61

now they are at 27

is that not over 50%?

cases mean nothing, deaths are only thing that matters because thats the fear they built this shut down on.

10 million people could catch it tomorrow but if 0 people die from it who gives a fukk

What does your first question have to do with me stating that coronaviruses are seasonal? You were asking a question about why more cases occurred in late winter as opposed to the summer and I answered it.

Do I have to also explain why you're more likely to catch the virus indoors as opposed to outdoors? Are Atlanta's gyms even closed?

And can you provide proof that Elon was counted twice in the daily totals? That doesn't really sound plausible.

Elon said himself he took 4 tests, why wouldnt they be counted?

Covid-19 hasnt been tracked in winter yet so im not sure where you are getting your stats on that just yet.

i live in California. Bay area to be exact. You know the most locked down place in America? Yet our cases continue to surge as well. Explain that since you cant explain why Atlanta death rate is 50% less than its peak, yet fully open

My bad, I was going off the numbers you provided of 41 in April, and 27 in November.

Regardless, you're still trying to downplay the disease by saying things like cases don't matter, and "if 0 people die from it who gives a fukk." People ARE dying, and the cases are rising, so it should absolutely fukking matter, what are you talking about? Why even try to make it seem like people aren't dying from COVID every day?

So again, what are you trying to get across? That we shouldn't minimize contact with one another?

I dont think its worth shutting down the economy, and neither does Atlanta, obviously.

i think as time progresses we are going to have a new virus or whatever outbreak more common as technology and testing on random shyt happens more often. We cant live in fear forever.

If it is worth shutting down, then shut down completely. I shouldnt be able to fly from San Francisco to Atlanta, party this weekend, then fly back to San Francisco on Monday. Shut it all down.

the fact that option even exists for me to do that, should let you know our government (democrats and republicans because it isnt just republicans, gavin newsom democrat governor of California allows this to happen by not shutting down airports or outside travel) isnt taking this serious despite the bull shyt they say on the news.
