Agree but at least with employers there are some guidelines when it comes to covid. Partying is dispensable during these times working is not and as result regardless of govt. response employers have set some guidelines. When you choose to do something that you really dont have to do and is not essential in providing you with the necessities of living then it shows lack of discipline.

Employers are winging it and making stuff up as they go. Everyone knows it a joke. If you are in an enclosed space with lots of people a little plexiglass at the register aint doing nothing but making you feel like its doing something. There is no real mass testing happening. There are no govt restrictions in place anymore in most places like Georgia. Kids going to schools. ATL been open and clubs packed every weekend since this pandemic started. folks been talking about eveyone at these parties gonna die but that hasnt happened. That's why they are still out and about.

The media is partly to blame by fear mongering and over selling this. They have been wrong more than they have been right so its like the boy who cried wolf.. Nobody paying attention to the fear mongering anymore. If folks were really dropping dead like that nobody would be out. Black folks scary as hell and yall know that. Reality aint matching the media fearmongering. 99% of people that catch corona recover without any issues and for folks under 50 the death rate is like 0.2%. And of that 0.2%, 99% of those people had underlying health conditions. folks aint willing to shut down and loose their jobs or stop socializing over those odds. Mask mandates is really what should have been pushed from day one.

That was my era too. Cellphones were those flip phones. Nobody was busy trying to post selfies, snapchat, IG stories, etc. Just dancing, drinking, having fun. I haven't been to a club in years (I'm too old for that shyt and before covid I mainly did bars and lounges) so I haven't experienced it but seeing my younger nieces, nephews, cousins, etc post on social media the club scene looks wack. :francis:
