This is why I can't totaly throw my hat in with the atheist crew.

If existance is infinite and random then none of us are unique and nothing we do means anything. It would mean that there have been and will be countless versions of ourselves, the earth, the universe. In my opinion that idea is much more far fetched than saying someone/something started it all.

It would just mean you're a thing created in some thing that's probably done some thing.

Do athiests really believe that's all their life's worth? :why:

I'm agnostic, but...That's the truth in my opinion that we all truly fear to face. It's not as 'easy' as a lot of religious people seem to think it is. Acknowledging your own insignificance, the relative futility of your own life is not easy. But thats why I posted that track. Life IS what you make of it. You can help your fellow man, enjoy the planet earth and all its wonder, and find people and places to care for.... A lot of people think of nonreligious people as fatalists or uncaring of the world because everything is futile.... To me, leaving behind hopes of the afterlife centers your efforts and focus on the HERE and NOW, and the future you leave behind you...

Yes our lives are meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but so is everything else.

however you're welcomed to indulge in drugs, party, get college degrees, stack money, find religion, etc anything u need to do to create purpose for yourself you should do it.

Na man. I'm just a regular guy out chyea trying to find his path just the same as everyone else. I suppose I have just been aware of my insignificance for a while. And in my teens, I did go through a :yeshrug: so what period. But now is the time. I realized a few years back that there are things on this wonderful green earth worth fighting for. There are so many wonderful things to see, people to meet. A lot of people like to look at the ugly parts of humanity as a deterrent or something that is evidence of the futility of life.... They havent had their life on the line. They haven't been shocked from their slumber. They aren't really LIVING. They're just existing.

Honestly I be trying to figure this sh*t out sometimes. Idk why sohh many people lack the motivation to push themselves to the next level. I mean sh*t I couldn't be content with some of lifestyles people endure. I damn sure would be actively trying to do everything within my power to reach a state of zenith in life.

Idk how much heredity or ontogentics play a role, but numerous findings indicate these are major factors which can essentially determine how an individuals life will shape up.

I mean I look at:
doctors who have kids who want to be grow up and to be doctors.
Mathematicians who have kids want to grow up to be mathematicians
deadbeats who have kids at a young age who grow to have kids at an early who'll later become deadbeats...
(anecdotal)

But sh*t I have peeps in the west indies who could go to school for practically free in tha UK and receive decent quality education, but would rather sit back, smoke weed all day, work for pennies( ≥ 11k a year), while living in a hut and having a reduced quality of life. :smh:

God/The Universe experiences life THROUGH us. We are here to evolve the species. To complexify life itself. Live and Let Live.
