Dana white is being a p*ssy now. Put him back on and he either regains his momentum with a win which will make the company more money and then they will need a 3rd fight or he loses then you don't have to worry about paying him more and he just goes back to FW.

I don't entirely disagree but I wish I could make a couple of points without being considered a Conor stan. I feel like it's really hard to talk about him without either having people call you a stan or a hater. He's so polarizing that it's hard to talk in the middle about him without one side jumping at you.

I think he knows that Nate Diaz is damn near an uncrackable code. So I think he wants to train as much as possible, and not fly a 15-16 hour flight to do media in Vegas. He suggested New York, which seems like a fair middle-ground to me. He does do more to promote than most fighters. He's a quote machine and a lot of those quotes aren't off the cuff. promo for him is not the same as promo for Nick Diaz. Nick Diaz shows up and answers some questions, but Conor shows up prepared to do everything he can to sell the fight.

As for the lack of heart? Maybe. I dunno. I train, and I just have a hard time believing that any high level prize fighter has a lack of heart. The UFC isn't the career choice for people that have no balls and no heart.

I agree with you that he's under contract and a tweet probably wasn't the best way to handle it and I agree Nate Diaz is a bad bad matchup for him and he knows this. I think he wants as much prep as possible b/c he knows deep down that he will probably get starched again.

Nick Diaz isn't an uncrackable he's never even beaten a champ in his entire career, Conor is his biggest win lmao

Lack of heart has nothing to do with trailing it's how you deal with adversity. Conor wilted when Nick Diaz starting touching his body, he checked out, he wanted no parts of that was looking for a way out, he even admitted in the post fight that nick diaz hurt him to the body and he abandoned going to Nick's body because of it. He also got discouraged when his shots wouldn't drop Nate, all this has to do with heart.

You got guys in gyms all across America that look amazing in the gym, but once the start getting hit in a fight they switch into bytch mode, it is what it is

I agree with MF Budz...if he wins, he's officially back on top of the UFC...if he loses, you bring him back down to earth and he either starts to fight where he belongs(145 & 155) or he officially becomes a quitter and you just start cashing him.

Dana needs to put his ego aside and get this money...Jones was limping on his way back to the locker room this past weekend and Daniel's knee isn't a guarantee for July...200 might be a "disaster" if you don't get Conor to main event.

If UFC 200 doesn't have mcgregor/Diaz it will be a total disappointment IMO. That's the match 99% of the ppl want to see. And if I'm Nate I'm calling Dana every hour to make that happen so I can get a bigger check.

So much fukkery brehs...

I saw an article on sherdog that was posted yesterday saying Conor would be interviewed on Live with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan this morning and I just checked my tv guide and lo and behold....it says he's gonna be on the show :russ: !!!!

He didn't want to do any media, though :russ: !!!!

I think he's gonna be the second guest out if the UFC actually lets him go through with the interview.

Potential fukkery in about 30 - 40 minutes, brehs :blessed:

And Dana says they'll aim to get Conor on the quickest ppv they can AFTER ufc200 :comeon:.

Conor wants out of the Diaz fight, but he doesn't want to look like a poosie doing so...Hence, we get all this drama...It is all being done, so Conor Nation can blame the UFC, and not see that Conot doesn't want Diaz problems...

If Conor loses twice to Diaz, he damn near finished...I don't see him dominating the 145 or 155 division...Dude is on the brink of being done...

How is your name mr logic ? Nick Diaz damn sure isn't some unbeatable fighter so I doubt that's the reason . McG was feeling himself too much after those PPV numbers and tried to capitalize on it . While zuffa is trying to not Start a precedence I think they may have messed up by not putting him on the card . Take a page from Vince and how sometimes you gotta give stars special privilege. They better hope neither DC OR BONES go down ( I hope not I want to see that more than Diaz mcG 2)

People quit all the time...Sometimes it is the best thing to do...

Dude left $10M on the table, because he didn't want to do a couple of TV appearances? A dude who built his image in front the cameras...

McGregor doesn't want the Diaz fight anymore, and he also doesn't want to face the media and explain his "L" (everything is easier when you are winning)...It was an emotional decision that he initially made...But when he regained his senses, he realized he was putting much on the line for a "penis size measuring contest"...

So, how does he correct his mistake without (a) seriously breaching contract (b) looking like a poosy...? Start a "minor" fight with the UFC...Now he is off the card because "the UFC is putting its foot down and setting precedence"...Don't for 1 second think that Team McGregor didn't know about Nick Diaz when they decided to not do the media rounds for UFC200...

Kill 2 birds with 1 stone...After UFC200...McGregor will fight the winner of Aldo vs Edgar II...The revenge fight with Nate Diaz will still be available if McGregor were to lose his 145lb belt....

This is a MUCH better path than going to 170LB and facing a fighter who finished you (with 11 days of training), then you have to come back down to 145lb to defend your belt (a weight cut that was already difficult without the excess weight)...

It is a SOUNDLY logical and REALISTIC opinion

Conor wants out of the Diaz fight, but he doesn't want to look like a poosie doing so...

Since at this point the fight is likely off, and since Dana admitted him and the fertittas tried talking Conor out of the fight, and since it's clear to most that Conor would get demolished again...I agree. I think he went crazy after the loss, his pride demanded the rematch, and when he got a chance to think on it, he understood how idiotic it would be. So we get this bs story...
