I don't entirely disagree but I wish I could make a couple of points without being considered a Conor stan. I feel like it's really hard to talk about him without either having people call you a stan or a hater. He's so polarizing that it's hard to talk in the middle about him without one side jumping at you.
I think he knows that Nate Diaz is damn near an uncrackable code. So I think he wants to train as much as possible, and not fly a 15-16 hour flight to do media in Vegas. He suggested New York, which seems like a fair middle-ground to me. He does do more to promote than most fighters. He's a quote machine and a lot of those quotes aren't off the cuff. promo for him is not the same as promo for Nick Diaz. Nick Diaz shows up and answers some questions, but Conor shows up prepared to do everything he can to sell the fight.
As for the lack of heart? Maybe. I dunno. I train, and I just have a hard time believing that any high level prize fighter has a lack of heart. The UFC isn't the career choice for people that have no balls and no heart.
I agree with you that he's under contract and a tweet probably wasn't the best way to handle it and I agree Nate Diaz is a bad bad matchup for him and he knows this. I think he wants as much prep as possible b/c he knows deep down that he will probably get starched again.
I agree with MF Budz...if he wins, he's officially back on top of the UFC...if he loses, you bring him back down to earth and he either starts to fight where he belongs(145 & 155) or he officially becomes a quitter and you just start cashing him.
Dana needs to put his ego aside and get this money...Jones was limping on his way back to the locker room this past weekend and Daniel's knee isn't a guarantee for July...200 might be a "disaster" if you don't get Conor to main event.
If UFC 200 doesn't have mcgregor/Diaz it will be a total disappointment IMO. That's the match 99% of the ppl want to see. And if I'm Nate I'm calling Dana every hour to make that happen so I can get a bigger check.I agree with MF Budz...if he wins, he's officially back on top of the UFC...if he loses, you bring him back down to earth and he either starts to fight where he belongs(145 & 155) or he officially becomes a quitter and you just start cashing him.

How is your name mr logic ? Nick Diaz damn sure isn't some unbeatable fighter so I doubt that's the reason . McG was feeling himself too much after those PPV numbers and tried to capitalize on it . While zuffa is trying to not Start a precedence I think they may have messed up by not putting him on the card . Take a page from Vince and how sometimes you gotta give stars special privilege. They better hope neither DC OR BONES go down ( I hope not I want to see that more than Diaz mcG 2)Conor wants out of the Diaz fight, but he doesn't want to look like a poosie doing so...Hence, we get all this drama...It is all being done, so Conor Nation can blame the UFC, and not see that Conot doesn't want Diaz problems...
If Conor loses twice to Diaz, he damn near finished...I don't see him dominating the 145 or 155 division...Dude is on the brink of being done...
