how did that show a lack of heart? He won the first round and fukked nates face up. then in the 2nd got rocked and took him down(which Favors Nate by a huge mArgin). shyt happens in mma and Connor needs work on his ground game.Idk or sure why he "retired" cause Their is so many conflicting reports. But I don't believe he's done. And frankly he's almost worth 10 mil with the crowds he been bringing in. (But the UFC rapes it's fighters and won't/can't allow that shyt)

But if he is whining bout doing promo that is dumb as hell cause we all know he loves that shyt.

Nate hit him with a body shot and he bytched up, he didn't just get caught, he stop going to nate's body beasue he was afraid of getting hit in the body

he went for a take down when he could've just clenched, he went on the take down on purpose to get tapped out, he's a quitter and mental weak, a front runner

yeah I'm sure he went for the takedown to purposely get subbed now I can see why you are the rings woat. He's mentally weak but 7-1 in the UFC and only 3 losses his whole mma career. Yeah ok that sounds like someone who is mentally weak .:comeon:

Either way I love how everyone said Conor beats up on midgets then goes and fights Diaz who is 4 inches taller, heavier, and way longer then him. Why would a mentally weak person do such a thing? Or jump up two weight classes?:jbhmm:

Lol McNugget is p*ssy..

Ol boy had no prob going on world tours to promote the Aldo fight.. He had no problem doing press conferences for the RDA fight..

But now that he's taken a loss.. He has a problem with promotion? Lol

He won't be ready in 8 weeks and he knows that Diaz will whip his ass again.. So now he needs an extra bread to do what every other famous althete does..

He already said he wasn't retiring. So Dana better add him back to the card.

Not really, he's under contract so he has no choice its part of the job.

he didn't complain about when it was aldo lmao the circus was there if not moreso.

He playing his lack of prep on promo lmao, nick diaz had ten days to prepare lmao is this nikka serious

that fight showed he had a lack of heart, now he just looking like a straight up bytch looking for a way out because he knows he can't win
I don't entirely disagree but I wish I could make a couple of points without being considered a Conor stan. I feel like it's really hard to talk about him without either having people call you a stan or a hater. He's so polarizing that it's hard to talk in the middle about him without one side jumping at you.

I think he knows that Nate Diaz is damn near an uncrackable code. So I think he wants to train as much as possible, and not fly a 15-16 hour flight to do media in Vegas. He suggested New York, which seems like a fair middle-ground to me. He does do more to promote than most fighters. He's a quote machine and a lot of those quotes aren't off the cuff. promo for him is not the same as promo for Nick Diaz. Nick Diaz shows up and answers some questions, but Conor shows up prepared to do everything he can to sell the fight.

As for the lack of heart? Maybe. I dunno. I train, and I just have a hard time believing that any high level prize fighter has a lack of heart. The UFC isn't the career choice for people that have no balls and no heart.

I agree with you that he's under contract and a tweet probably wasn't the best way to handle it and I agree Nate Diaz is a bad bad matchup for him and he knows this. I think he wants as much prep as possible b/c he knows deep down that he will probably get starched again.

In the minority but I always felt it was dumb for them to have an immediate rematch and for it to be the headliner for 200. The only fight that makes sense is jones/Cormier 2

He is mentally weak. That takedown was out of panic and desperation, he knew damn well going in that Diaz definitely had the advantage on ground to begin with. He was rocked and mentally gave up. Same kinda shyt happened with Cain when he got picked apart by Werdum. I also like how you try to give props to Conor for fighting a larger fighter in Diaz, but also used the size thing as an excuse in the same sentence. This is the same Nate Diaz who only weighed in one pound heavier than Conor and only had 11 days to prepare while Conor was already in camp preparing for RDA.....ALONG with the fact that Nate fights at 155 anyways, so technically he really didn't jump up two weight classes. As far as Conor's record :mjlol: Who really did he beat aside from Mendes and Aldo? Mendes was giving him problems on the ground anyways and had taken the fight short notice, as far as Aldo, that was pretty much a puncher's chance victory and really didn't prove anything other than the fact that Aldo fought really fukking stupid that night. @Master Teacher and I don't often see eye to eye on shyt but he's on the money in saying that Conor is definitely a front runner. He's like the Irish younger, smaller version of Vitor Belfort....mentally breaks when shyt isn't going his way.

He's doing this because he doesn't have the juice anymore. It was all too easy for him to run the show in pressers and shyt when he was on his streak talking big shyt, but Nate pretty much destroyed his image and humbled him. Nate's already won the rematch psychologically IMO.

Dana White: Conor McGregor's tweet about being back
on UFC 200 'not true'

By Marc Raimondi @marc_raimondi on Apr 25, 2016, 11:48a 202

The situation just gets messier.

UFC president Dana White told the Los Angeles Times on Monday that the promotion has no deal in place for Conor McGregor to fight at UFC 200, despite a tweet claiming just that from McGregor on Sunday night.

White told the Times that McGregor saying he is back on the card is "not true."

"We haven't talked [to] Conor or his manager since the press conference [Friday]," White said. "I don't know why he would tweet that."

McGregor sent out a tweet late Sunday night thanking White and UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta for putting him back on the card. As of Monday morning, it had more than 78,000 retweets.

McGregor, the UFC's featherweight champion and the biggest financial draw in the organization, was all set to fight Nate Diaz in the UFC 200 main event until last Tuesday. On that day, McGregor tweeted a cryptic message about an early retirement. Then, White explained a few hours later that McGregor had been yanked from the Diaz fight, because he would not fly to Las Vegas for promotional obligations last week.

McGregor, 27, said in a statement Thursday that he is not yet paid to promote and wanted to focus on training to get revenge on Diaz, who he lost to at UFC 196 in March. McGregor said he was absolutely not retired.

The statement didn't help. White doubled down Friday at a UFC 200 press conference that McGregor is definitely off the card, because it wasn't fair to the other participants that they all came to Vegas and other cities to promote and McGregor would not.

At that same press conference, Diaz made it clear there was only one opponent he wanted to fight at UFC 200: McGregor:

White also told TMZ on Monday that the McGregor-Diaz fight is 100 percent off.

"I feel like the scene in 'Step Brothers' when they ask if they can build the bunk beds," White said. "I don't know how many more times I can say the fight is off or how many more press conferences I can have saying the fight is off for people to believe it's off."
